Workshop: Designing Microservices

Sam Newman
Technologist
@Independent Consultant
In this workshop, we'll share some framing for micro service architectures that explore the various forces that can drive the design and evolution of microservices, and then you'll participate in a series of interactive architectural kata exercises to put your new found knowledge to the test.

Workshop: Apache Spark – crash course by Marcin Szymaniuk

Marcin Szymaniuk
Data developer, Data infrastructure administrator and Consultant at TantusData.
The course is dedicated to people who have no previous Spark experience. The ultimate goal is to provide an overview of the most important Spark features so attendees get enough knowledge to start building their first Spark applications. No prior experience in Spark is required. All the handson exercises will be in Scala but they will be simple enough for anybody with good knowledge of any modern programming language. All participants should have VirtualBox installed on their laptop so they can do hands on exercises and fully benefit from the workshop.

Workshop: Microservices with Spring Cloud

Orkhan Gasimov
Software engineer, certified trainer and consultant
This course is prepared for people who have no previous experience with Spring Cloud. Our goal is to overview of the most important Spring Cloud features so that attendees get enough knowledge to start building their first Spring Cloud applications. We will start learning from architecture patterns, overview the Spring Cloud, discuss the role of transactions and will see how to implement such systems without transactions. During the session, you will also get answers to “why?” and “how?” questions concerning all topics discussed and even more. Spring Boot experience is desired but not required. Apache Maven will be used for exercises.

Workshop: Design patterns or how to write clean code in OOP and Functional worlds

Evgeny Borisov

Workshop: Design patterns or how to write clean code in OOP and Functional worlds

Evgeny Borisov
